ABOUT THE GAME

Blackjack is one of the most recognized table games in the casino, combining simple rules with plenty of decisions along the way. Also known as 21, the goal is to beat the dealer by building a hand with a higher value without going over 21.

Number cards are worth their face value, face cards — Jack, Queen and King — are worth 10, and an Ace can count as either 1 or 11. Each hand is played against the dealer, not the other players at the table.

Whether you’re brand new to the game or already know your way around the table, Blackjack is easy to learn and offers fast-paced play from one hand to the next.

HOW TO PLAY

Start by placing your wager in the betting area before the cards are dealt. You’ll receive two cards and use their combined value to decide how you want to play your hand.

Hit — Ask the dealer for another card.

Stand — Keep your current hand and end your turn.

Double Down — Increase your original wager and receive one additional card.

Split — If your first two cards are eligible to be split, you can separate them into two hands by placing an additional wager equal to your original bet.

Once all players have completed their hands, the dealer completes their hand according to the rules of the table. If your hand is higher than the dealer’s without exceeding 21, you win. If the dealer goes over 21 and you haven’t, you win. If you and the dealer finish with the same total, the hand is a push.

A hand that exceeds 21 is called a bust. A two-card hand consisting of an Ace and a 10-value card is a Blackjack.

Table rules, betting limits and available options may vary. If you’re unsure about anything, just ask your dealer — they’ll be happy to help.
